KI researchers studying career opportunities at Bayer

As a follow-up to the Karolinska Institutet (KI) career fare day “Careers in Health and Science Exposition” (CHaSE), 28 KI researchers visited the Bayer Solna office on May 29th. They got an up-close look into the Bayer organization and the opportunity to interact with some of our key colleagues in different departments.

Managing Director, Henrik Wulff kicked-off the day by giving an inspiring talk on Bayer then, now and in the future. This was followed by a workshop on drug development led by Kerstin Crusius-Millert, Head of R&D, Partner and Health Communications, who flew in from Bayer’s Global Office for this special occasion.

The day also included research presentations by two of our guests and finalized with some of our Bayer colleagues providing valuable insights to our academic friends by sharing their career experiences and their role at Bayer today.

- The event was highly appreciated by the young students and they encouraged us to do more similar events in the future. A number of other researchers have got in touch with us hoping to register for the next event. Our aim is to continue building bridges with KI researchers and the KI Career Services and we are excited to communicate about upcoming events in the near future, says organizer of the day Hovsep Mahdessian.
